“The Problem Solver”

Moses Sudheer Bontha

Chairman & Attorney

 

Moses has worked among rural Dalits from Madhira since 1984. He first underwent a Bachelor’s then finished with a Masters in Divinity in 1981 at ACTC, Hyderabad, India. He followed this up with training in Rural Health and Social Affairs at RUHSA, CMC, Vellore in 1982. Later in 2000 he completed a Bachelor of Laws in response to the need for honest legal representation for rural Dalits.

“The Visionary”

Regina Alexander

Managing Trustee

 

Regina's MCS from Regent College, Vancouver, Canada 1992 was followed by an MA in Communication at Wheaton College, IL, 1998 and PhD in Interculture Education, BIOLA University, CA 2014. Regina has worked with rural Dalits since 2007 and completed extensive doctoral research on rural Madiga Dalits. Being encouraged by Sudheer she did her Bachelor of Law in 2012 to join forces with him in their work for social justice.

“The Globetrotter”

Drew Hill

International President

 

Drew has served as president of IMPACT Community since 2013. Drew is the lead pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia. He holds a Doctor of Ministry and a Masters of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He brings to IMPACT Community his extensive experience in development and aid at both national and international levels.

“The Inspirer”

Brooke Blake

Global Engagements

 

Brooke has served on the Board of IMPACT Community since 2016. Brooke is the Associate Pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia. She holds a Masters of Divinity. Brooke visited IMPACT Community in 2015 and 2018 and is looking forward to going again and partnering on the ground with Regina and Sudheer. Brooke has an immense heart for the underprivileged. She brings 15 years of experience leading volunteers and partnering with those who serve to better their communities both in the US and internationally.

“The Steward”

Bill Moorman

Treasurer

 

Bill Moorman is the Treasurer of the Board for IMPACT Community International. He currently serves as a U.S. Court of Appeals judge in the federal court system. Having received a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Illinois, he went on to serve 31 years as a uniformed attorney in the USAF, retiring in the grade of major general. He thereafter served as the acting assistant secretary for management in the Department of Veterans Affairs before being appointed to the federal judiciary. He has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations, including: more than 20 years on the Board of Trustees for the Air Force Aid Society, the last five as Board President; the USAF JAG School Foundation; and, the John Leland Center for Theological Studies.

“The Teambuilder ”

Artemia Bates-Mendoza

IMPACT Board Member

 

Artemia has served on the IMPACT board since its inception in 2010. She currently serves as Director of Uptick Catalyst, a Ministry Partner of Ascent in the Northern Virginia area. She holds a BA from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Christian Leadership from the John Leland Center for Theological Studies. Artemia has led volunteer groups to serve in different parts of the world alongside established organizations like IMPACT that are dedicated to building their communities with the expertise and proficiency necessary in order to bridge the socio-economic inequities found across the globe.

Eva Peters

IMPACT Board Member

 

Eva has served on the Board of IMPACT Community since 2021.  She first met Regina as a high school student and was mentored by Regina.  Eva visited IMPACT Community in 2018. She holds a MBA from Azusa Pacific University.  India is her native homeland and she has always been passionate about working for the cause of the underprivileged. Partnering with Regina has brought a different kind of awareness for the needs of the Dalits. She was on staff with Intervarsity (India) for many years and has served on the Board of a mission organization for many years in the US. She has worked in academic administration for the past 30 years and now works part-time in an immigration law office in Pasadena, CA, and lives in India a few months a year to care for her elderly mom.

“The Analyst”

Sean Stevens

IMPACT Board Member

 

Sean began serving on the board of IMPACT Community in 2023.  He holds a B.A. in History from Texas A&M University, a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, and an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.  Sean has served in the United States Marine Corps as an intelligence analyst and at the Social Security Administration as an attorney.  He is now a stay-at-home dad for his two daughters.  Sean is also an active member of Memorial Baptist Church in Arlington, VA, where he has served as a deacon, Bible study teacher, and member of several church work teams.  Through IMPACT Community, Sean hopes to share the blessings he has received by supporting rural Dalit communities' educational and social justice aspirations.

“The Builder”

Bil Wodatch

IMPACT Board Member

 

‘Bil’ is a retired project manager who has supported the Impact Community with visits to Madhira in 2010 and 2015. He is seeking to return in the near future to help with the agriculture work.
